About Sea CBD

We set up Sea CBD as we feel passionate about helping others enhance their overall wellbeing and quality of life. We wanted to offer an empowering vegan-friendly food supplement that we ourselves, as well as friends and family, would happily embrace as part of our daily dietary rituals. In contrast to what we encountered when exploring alternative remedies, our messaging is always positive and our ingredients are premium quality.

Sea CBD is made from 100% certified organic hemp that’s directly extracted from the plant. Ingredients are ethically sourced, and you’ll find none of the crystals or cannabidiol isolates that lower-quality oils contain. Our certified organic CBD oil is produced without the use of pesticides, fungicides, herbicides, chemical fertilisers, genetically modified products, additives or growth hormones. Developed in a Swiss laboratory, Sea CBD undergoes a rigorous quality-control process. Firstly, CO₂ extraction removes any potentially harmful substances. Next, decarboxylation increases the bioavailability of the oil so that the body absorbs it more quickly. A purification process then takes out any fats or chemicals.

To enhance the nourishing and balancing effects of CBD, Sea CBD is enriched with terpenes. It’s also blended with olive oil and filtered for a purer oil that’s lighter in colour. These processes also lend Sea CBD a better scent and flavour compared with unfiltered CBD oils that tend to be darker in colour and lower in quality. Sea CBD is independently tested both for CBD levels and to demonstrate that THC levels do not exceed the legal limit of 0.2%. Our lab produces small, fresh batches, each with an individual batch number taken from a batch report.

To comply with UK food regulation law and the EU directive on food supplements, we are unable to offer any medical advice or claims. Always consult your doctor or healthcare professional before using any new food supplements.

Scientific studies have revealed that CBD can interact with our endocannabinoid system in a way that leads to body and mind achieving a state of optimal equilibrium.

What is CBD?

CBD is short for Cannabidiol, a compound found in hemp and cannabis plants that‘s classified as a food supplement. CBD has no psychoactive properties but is regularly confused with THC - a controlled psychoactive substance that also comes from hemp and cannabis plants and is regulated as a medicine.

Research has shown that CBD can help balance the body and mind because of how it affects our endocannabinoid system.  Seen as the bridge between body and mind, our endocannabinoid system is responsible for regulating functions within the body as well as how we interact with our environment and people around us. Made up of a collection of cell receptors and corresponding molecules in the body like the brain, nervous system, and immune cells, it looks after many cognitive and physiological functions like mood, memory, pain and appetite. The chaos of modern life and the natural ageing process can upset the balance of our endocannabinoid system, but CBD may be able to counteract this. Scientific studies have revealed that CBD can interact with our endocannabinoid system in a way that leads to body and mind achieving a state of optimal equilibrium (known as homeostasis).
